Membership Benefits 

What membership includes:

 -- Membership to Pickleball Den software which provides access to online signup sheets

 -- Reduced fees and reserved times at indoor partnering facilities.

 -- Skill levels promoting both social and competitive play

 -- Free instruction for beginners.

 -- Organized shootouts and tournaments

 -- Purchasing of nets, line tape, balls and various facilities improvements 

 -- Discounted Social events

 -- Access to reserved club play times at Garfield Park & Gorilla House Gym.

     *Note guests may only play 5 times during club reserved play times.

Dues: $35 per person/year (Add $2.00 if paying by PayPal); $64 for two family members at the same address; $91 for three family members at the same address; $118 four family members at the same address. 

Other donations are also accepted. Donations of $200 or more entitles to free one-year membership.

*Note -  Dues are discounted to $22 per person for those joining after July 1st.

Step 1 - Fill out membership form (New  Members Only)

 You can submit your membership form in two ways:

1)  Mail in the form below. Do this by clicking on the form then downloading (See box in upper right), printing and completing the document in ink.  The mailing address is located on the form.  Please pay by check if you prefer to mail your membership form

     OR

2) Submit your membership via the Online Form .  Please pay by PayPal if you prefer complete your membership form electronically.

This form must be SIGNED or your membership will not be accepted.

Step 2 - Send in membership dues

Three Ways to Pay

1.  By Check.  Payable to:  Blair County Pickleball Club 

                                           c/o Donna Messner

                                           4607 Lyndale Road, Altoona, PA 16602

2.  On the Pickleball Den App.  Click on the "Other" tab then "Purchase Product."  (Current Members Only)

3.  On PayPal.  Just Scan the QR Code below.  

Remember to add $2.00 for PayPal processing fees.






To pay by phone just take a screenshot of the QR Code.

Step 3 - Get the Pickleball Den App

Once you are a member, you will receive a welcome to the club email with login information for the Pickleball Den app and/or your computer. 
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR Pickleball Den DIRECTLY
The Pickleball Den is our main tool for scheduling play.  It's a must for members whether using from your computer or phone app.

From  your computer or Android phone, just go to https://app.pickleballden.com/home.  You can add a shortcut to make life easier.  

iPhone users can watch the video for app installation instructions.

Step 4 - Sign up to play

On Pickleball Den, click on "Sign-Ups" then "View Sign-Up Sheets."  Select your date range and play location.  See below for an example of a sign up sheet.  Click the green "Sign Me Up button" and you will have reserved a slot in the game.  Be sure to hit the "Withdraw" button if your plans change.

Here is an explanation for different terms on the signup sheets.

* Social = Anybody can play regardless of level

* Open Play (IM/ADV) = For High Intermediate/Advanced players

* Open Play (IM/Social) = Intermediate/anyone but not beg

* Open Play (IM/BEG = Lower Intermediate/Beginners

* Open Play (2.0/2.5) = Beginner play

* Interm (3.0 and up) = Intermediate and higher

* Interm (3.5 and up) = Higher Intermediate

* Advanced Play = 4.0 level or higher

* Build Your Own Court = You sign up and reserve a court just for yourself and at least three other members you invite to play.

We ask that you please be courteous and sign up in your correct level of ability as pickleball is most enjoyable with evenly matched players.
